Tips for Round Fourteen

There were some serious points won last round, but none of them by me. Drsimmo has taken the lead and I have gone from 1st to third place. I've had a couple of whiskey's but I think this is right so far:

Drsimmo: 19
Jacob: 18
Hamish: 17
John: 16
Tony: 16

My tips for Round 14:
Sydney FC vs Queensland Roar FC
QLD 0:2

Central Coast Mariners FC vs Adelaide United FC
Adelaide 1:2

Perth Glory FC vs New Zealand Knights
Draw 1:1

Melbourne Victory FC vs Newcastle Jets FC
Melbourne 2:1

Jacob's tips:
Sydney FC vs Queensland Roar FC
Sydney 2:1

Central Coast Mariners FC vs Adelaide United FC
Adelaide 0:2

Perth Glory FC vs New Zealand Knights
Perth 3:1

Melbourne Victory FC vs Newcastle Jets FC
Melbourne 3:1

Unfortunately Tony, the Terrorists were defeated last week, so you got that one wrong. If you really want irony, they played a team rather pretentiously named Queensland Roar.

Jacob is such a pragmatist, isnt he Hamish! By the way, you've just signed Mori (the ffa refused to let mariners resign him as replacement for O'Grady, as it is not a like-for-like swap). Take care of ST. Damian for us, he saved our season, and get a point off Sydney please!
p.s how many strikers have you guys got now?

Oh dear, the Roar have signed Damien Mori? An excellent move, you guys need someone who can get the ball in the back of the net!

Anyway, on to my tips for round 14:

Sydney v Queensland: Sydney 2-1
What difference can Mori make? He will certainly add potency to the Roar attack. But Sydney have some momentum now and I think they can get past them.

Central Coast v Adelaide: Adelaide 0-3
Queensland's gain is the Mariner's loss. I fear that without Mori CCM will lack attacking force. If Nathan Burns returns for Adelaide they should win comfortably.

Perth v NZ: Perth 2-0
Are Perth resurgent? If results go according to form, Perth could find themselves in 4th spot by Sunday night. I hope so for the sake of the game in the west.

Melbourne v Newcastle: Draw 1-1
The Victory were hardly convincing against Queensland - they took their chance and had a freak own goal go their way. Newcastle have the attack, but do they have the defence?

Sydney FC vs Queensland Roar FC
Roar 3-0

So many Roar players could score. I wonder if it willbe Zhang?

Central Coast Mariners FC vs Adelaide United FC
Adelaide 0:1

Kossy said Sydney played a boring defensive 'English' game based on long balls. Perhaps he couldn't see how boring his team was against the Roar? 'We ground them out.' Can CC score goals without Mori? They also looked all defence against the Roar.

Perth Glory FC vs New Zealand Knights
Perth 2:0
The real question is 'If the Knights don't make it to season 3 then how will the a-league go with only 7 teams?' FFA said no new teams ready till season 4. We could all be asleep by then.

Melbourne Victory FC vs Newcastle Jets FC
Melbourne 1:0
Could be close because beating Roar took everything they had and Archie said; 'I'm not diving in the box anymore.' Anyway the FFA told them to stop it.
