Phew! Just got in before a long road trip today.

Here are my tips for the round:

Perth v Adelaide: Adelaide 1-2
Perth just can't take a trick this season, so even though the wrong Aloisi is playing tonight (or at least in the squad) tonight, I reckon Adelaide will pull this one off.

NZ vs Queensland: Queensland 1-3
The Roar have been pretty poor of late, but the last game had several moments of greatness, especially Ben Griffin's cracker of a goal. So with NZ in disarray off the field as well as on, it should be too easy for Farina's lads.

Central Coast v Melbourne: Central Coast 2-1
With the minor premiership wrapped up, will Melbourne take their foot off the pedal? I think it's a possibility, especially since CCM have more to play for and are at home. Memories of the last game may still haunt them however.

Newcastle v Sydney: Sydney 1-2
Both teams have a lot to play for in this one, so I reckon it will be a cracker of a game to start the New Year. For me the big question is, will Alex Brosque's goal last game be the confidence boost he needs? Sydney by a nose.

Cheers and happy holidays!
Simon

Merry Christmas Hamish and Jacob!

Perth Glory FC vs Adelaide United FC
Do Perth know how to win? I hope so. I'd the top 6 to get tighter. Perth 2:1 Bertos to score at last.

New Zealand Knights FC vs Queensland Roar FC
Queensland 0:6
Who will play for the Knights - are they legal?

Central Coast Mariners FC vs Melbourne Victory FC
Melbourne 0:3

Newcastle Jets FC vs Sydney FC
Newcastle 3:0 The league's most attacking team v its most defensive. Attack to win.
